ABOUT Pennsylvania goes to college

Pennsylvania Goes to College is a program designed to help the students of Pennsylvania go on to achieve their college education.

 

The main goal of this program is to give greater knowledge of college and careers to all students across Pennsylvania. There are a variety of tools that can be found on this website that can aid students in their college search, the application process, financial aid, and beyond.

 

Another goal is to reduce "summer melt, which is when graduated high school seniors fail to go to college in the fall despite being accepted into and having enrolled in college. By providing reminders, advice, and counseling, throughout the school year and over the summer, this program aims to make sure all graduated seniors who are intending to go to college do attend college in the fall.
